TSB Children’s Ward – Wall Mural

About This Project

Fundraising by a local non-profit organisation had raised money for some artwork in the brand new TSB Children and Young Peoples’ Ward.

Having to go into hospital can be scary for anyone, especially children. To be involved in a project that transforms a cold sterile environment into a space that is welcoming and comfortable for children and their families was something we really wanted to be involved in.

There were some key considerations in this project, the mural had to be hard wearing and easy to clean plus mural needed to be completely odourless and safe for children with low immunity. We were able to tick all these boxes by using an environmentally friendly PVC-free wallpaper stock, and the latest HP Latex water-based ink technology.

We think the space looks great, plus we had some great feedback from some of the little people that have stayed there.
