TSB – Festival of Lights

About This Project

After seeing the fun new festival branding for the 2017/18 season designed by Favour the Brave, we just had to be involved in rolling out the signage for the new brand.

We submitted a proposal to New Plymouth District Council to be their Sign Partner for the TSB Festival of Lights and the rest is history.

We really wanted to put our mark on the festival, so we pitched an idea to take the new logo and turn it into an illuminated feature piece to welcome visitors into Pukekura Park for the festival. This large round lightbox was a bit of an engineering feet, as the sign needed to be strong, attach at a single mounting point, be quick and easy to install/remove and of course it had to light up!

The whole festival space looked fantastic and we got to showcase a lot of different techniques:

• CAD Design / Tech Services (design of the illuminated sign and structure)
• Engineering and Fabrication
• Printed vinyl graphics
• Sign Panels
• Banners
• Wayfinding system
• Vehicle/Fleet Signage

The entrance feature sign was the most technical jobs our in-house sign fabrication team built that year, and we were proud to receive a Silver Medal in the Illuminated Signs category at the 2018 New Zealand Sign & Display Awards (LINK).

Our entire team look forward to this event each year and we take huge pride in being part of New Zealand’s biggest and best light festival, TSB Festival of Lights.
